The Wrap Show in London UK | Ottawa Babywearing Photography

I was walking down the streets of London, UK trying to get my son to finally fall asleep on my back. I sat down on a bench by the water and checked my phone to see what was happening in the land of Facebook.

Someone asked me if I was going to the Wrap Show. I didn't even know what it was but within a few minutes I had purchased my ticket online and was ready to go the next morning. I'm so glad I went!

What is the Wrap Show in London?

It took place on May 6 at Lindley Hall created for babywearing beginners, educators, textile lovers, design enthusiasts, experienced wrappers and Health Care Professionals. There were vendor displays, panel discussions, a play area, clinics and of course people just spending time together and socializing. 

My son and I spent most of the day there exploring all the tables and we took some time to try some new brands we had never tried. It was a great day for my wrappin' heart.

I was sure to check out Hubertine as so many local Ottawa families raved about these wraps! They were beautiful!

Over the last few years, I have lost touch with all the wraps and weavers and it was so much fun to meet some great businesses at the show. Woven Wings were the Show Sponsors...and I ended up purchasing one of their Merino wraps - they were  so beautiful!

I was even able to meet and listen to some of the speakers and presenters who will be at Ottawa's Local Babywearing Conference coming up this fall! The Salon de Portage Canadien Up Canadian Babywearing Conference is happening September 30 and October 1st. Bebe Sachi, photographed above, will be one of the speakers.
